Sheffield United defender Reavill signs new deal

Sheffield United defender Reavill signs new deal Sheffield United defender Jess Reavill has signed a new contract with the club. The Blades announced the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon. The 20-year-old centre-back has agreed an extension to her terms until summer 2028. Reavill started out at Sheffield United before going on to represent Leicester City and Stoke City. The player returned to Bramall Lane for a second spell last summer. Reavill made 18 appearances for The Blades in Barclays WSL2 last term, scoring one goal which came in a 5-2 defeat to Southampton. After signing on again with Sheffield United, Reavill said “I’m very happy, very excited. I feel like I had a good season last time out, to try and prove myself in this league, and now I just want to extend that and to keep going, and I feel like here is where I can do that. “I’d still say there is unfinished business here. I feel like I have a lot of points to still prove to everyone, and I feel like extending my stay here I can keep proving to myself and everyone else too.” Sheffield United kick-off the new Barclays WSL2 season with a home fixture against Leicester City on Sunday afternoon.
