Official: Napoli reveal squad list for 2026-27 Champions League Massimiliano Allegri has officially confirmed his squad of Napoli players for the upcoming 2026-27 Champions League league phase, including returning loanees Noa Lang and Lorenzo Lucca plus summer signings Costantino Favasuli and Benoit Badiashile. All clubs competing in UEFA competitions in 2026-27 submitted their squads for the league phase campaign by the end of Wednesday, September 2, the day after the close of the summer transfer window for the majority of European nations. Of those 25 players, at least two must be goalkeepers and eight must be ‘locally trained players’ ie. those who were based in Italy for at least three uninterrupted years between the ages of 15 and 21. Teams are also able to name an unlimited number of players on their ‘List B’, typically reserved for youth-team players. Any player can be named on List B as long as they were born on or after January 1, 2005, and as long as they have played for the club for an uninterrupted period of at least two years. Napoli have named 23 players on their List A, including seven locally trained players in Alex Meret, Nikita Contini, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Favasuli, Leonardo Spinazzola, Antonio Vergara and Lucca.
