Ex France Star Sagna: ‘Fabregas To Replace Flick At Barcelona’ – Maresca & Guardiola ‘Have Same DNA’ Former France international Bacary Sagna does not believe Cesc Fabregas will ever coach Arsenal in the Premier League, adding the Como coach is waiting to replace Hansi Flick at Barcelona. Sagna argued that former teammate is a fantastic coach who is doing a great job at Como, adding he wasn’t surprised the Lariani made it to the Champions League. When asked directly as a yes or no question if Fabregas will ever coach Arsenal, Sagna responded: “No.” Meanwhile, Fabregas and Como have been tipped as Dark Horses to win the Serie A this season. Something Sagna dismisses. “I don’t think so [that Como will win the Serie A]. It’s a club in a build-up. I think it’s an amazing club: the stability of the club, the consistency, the understanding, the vibe of the club also. “It’s a family club. I think Fabregas has been doing an amazing job. “I think he deserved to be the best coach of the season, as he was named last night. So this is what I like the most: they’re not scared to play. And people see them as a surprise. I’m not surprised, because all the ingredients are there. “All the discipline from the players, every single weekend, is there. And if you bring the right element and the enthusiasm before every game, you get rewarded. “For me, it’s not too surprising. And also, I was working on Italian football here in Abu Dhabi and I used to follow the Italian league. So, no, I’m not surprised. The past three years, honestly, they’ve been playing amazing football. “Of course, you can’t always win every single game, but even after each game, you don’t see them with their heads down. You don’t see them disappointed. They’re accepting and moving on, and this is the mark of big teams. “So, yeah. And they have a great coach also” Sagna concluded.
