Carlo Ancelotti visits Real Madrid training ahead of Betis clash

Carlo Ancelotti visits Real Madrid training ahead of Betis clash Following their wins against Espanyol, Real Sociedad, and Malaga, Real Madrid are set to play their fourth league game of the season, against Real Betis, today, on Friday. The Merengues have been preparing for this game for some days now, as they had a full week for this purpose. The last session ahead of this match was held on Thursday, and this session turned out to be a special one for one particular reason. As MARCA has reported, the beloved former Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti stopped by the club’s facilities and greeted the players before the start of training at Valdebebas. However, this was not a purely courtesy call. The Italian coach closely monitored three players in particular, namely, Eder Militao, Rodrygo Goes, and Endrick. All of these players are currently out with physical problems, and were training separately from the group. These three players are of special interest to Ancelotti, as he is now managing the Brazil national team, and would be looking to count on these players in the future. For the last World Cup, the Italian coach was able to take only Endrick with him , as Militao and Rodrygo were already recovering from their long-term injuries. In addition to these Brazilians, Ancelotti also shares a strong bond with the new Real Madrid coach, Jose Mourinho. In fact, the Portuguese coach recently highlighted this relationship in a press conference, and this relationship can prove to be important as it will allow the Merengue club to coordinate plans with the Selecao regarding several Brazilian players in Los Blancos’ ranks. Beyond this business nature of the visit, there is no doubt Real Madrid players, especially the ones who have trained with him in the past, would have been very happy to see Carlo Ancelotti, who is the most decorated manager in the club’s history, at Valdebebas.
