Gullit hopes ‘something changes’ in Juventus vs. Milan, Ramos needs ‘support’ Milan legend Ruud Gullit hopes tonight’s clash between Juventus and Milan will be more entertaining than the recent meetings between these two sides and insists the Rossoneri’s new centre-forward Gonçalo Ramos ‘needs support’ from the rest of the team. Juventus and Milan meet at the Allianz Stadium in Turin tonight. Bianconeri and Rossoneri have won the opening two games of the season in Serie A and face off in Turin after two consecutive 0-0 draws in the 2025-26 campaign. I hope to see them back at the top soon, but to reach the summit, you need players who can make the right decisions on the pitch.” The Rossoneri were the highest spenders in Serie A this summer and made the most expensive purchase in Italy, bringing in Gonçalo Ramos from PSG in a €75m deal, including add-ons. “I like Gonçalo, but you can’t expect one striker to solve all the problems,” Gullit said. Ramos deserves confidence, but he needs support from the rest of the team.” Italy legend Gigi Buffon said Juventus have a slight advantage against Milan tonight, but Gullit doesn’t see a favourite. “It’s hard to say after just two matches. Spalletti is good, while Milan have brought in Amorim and are focusing on a mix of young and experienced players,” the former Netherlands international concluded. “Those who make many changes always need time, and this Milan side must work to regain their confidence.”
