Troy Deeney appeared to agree, picking four Arsenal players for his BBC Team of the Week, with David Raya , Ezri Konsa , Martin Odegaard , and Kai Havertz all making the cut. Troy Deeney’s BBC Team of the Week for Matchday 3 Deeney highlighted Raya’s “huge saves” against Chelsea, suggesting the Spaniard is currently “the best goalkeeper in the league”. The former striker picked Konsa for his “solid performance” and “massive tackle on Morgan Rogers “, adding that Arteta might have to find a way to keep Konsa in the team when everyone is fit. Deeney called Odegaard a “captain, leader, and a massive winner”, and suggested Havertz is Arsenal’s “best striker…best football…and also their best finisher”.
