Former Gunner still out injured after summer transfer

Former Gunner still out injured after summer transfer Christian Norgaard has faced some bad luck with new club Everton so far, and he’s expected to be out injured until after this month’s international break. Photo by Julian Finney/Getty Images Former Arsenal midfielder Christian Norgaard left the club for Everton this summer, having won the Premier League title in his one season in north London. The Danish 32-year-old departed with the intention to rack up regular minutes with his new club, but it hasn’t worked out that way so far. Norgaard has missed the first four games of Everton’s season with a groin injury, and he’s set for more time on the sidelines over the next couple of weeks. As a result, Norgaard is set to miss Everton’s trip away to Tottenham Hotspur , their League Cup third round match at home to Wolves , and their Premier League game at home to Ipswich Town . The ex-Arsenal 29-year-old came on for his debut in the 77th minute of the match, and he made his vital contribution in the 96th minute. The right-back could hardly have hoped for a better start.
