Official | Cristian Cásseres extends Toulouse FC contract Cristian Cásseres (26) has extended his contract with Toulouse FC until 2028, the club has officially announced. Originally signed with Les Violets until June 2027, the midfielder has now extended his contract by a further season. Having arrived in the Occitan region as part of a €1m transfer from the New York Red Bulls in the summer of 2023, Cásseres has established himself as a key player in his position in Ligue 1, making 113 appearances for TFC, including appearances in the Europa League. Starting in 32 of the 34 matches he played across all competitions last season, the Venezuelan midfielder proved decisive on seven occasions, scoring two goals and providing five assists. The driving force behind the playing system of TéFéCé’s new manager Jens Berthel Askou, the international with 48 caps (one goal) has got his 2026-27 campaign off to a flying start, starting all three of Toulouse’s matches and providing one assist.
