Bromley 0-2 AFC Wimbledon - report

AFC Wimbledon took the bragging rights in the London derby as they eased to a comfortable victory at Bromley. A goal in either half from Jayden Stockley and Myles Hippolyte was enough to seal all three points and inflict a third successive defeat on Andy Woodman's team. The Dons took the lead in the eighth minute with their first meaningful effort on goal. James Tilley's teasing cross was headed powerfully into the net by Jayden Stockley. Dan Sweeney came close to doubling the lead eight minutes before the interval but his shot was blocked on the line via Owen Mason and George Saville. In first half time added on Steven Sessegnon struck the ball into the side-netting. It was more of the same in the second half when Stockley planted his free header straight at Mason. Bromley sprung to life just after the hour mark, Kamil Conteh seeing his volley from 20 yards well saved by Josef Bursik. However that was as good as it got for the Ravens and the visitors sealed the win midway through the second half when Myles Hippolyte broke away to finish low beyond Mason – the 14th goal Bromley have conceded in 10 days.
