Kroupi receives Young Talent of the Year nomination
[Getty Images] Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi has been nominated for the Men's Young Talent of the Year award ahead of the 2026 Ballon d'Or ceremony. The 20-year-old is one of three Premier League players to be named in the 10-player shortlist, alongside Manchester City 's Ayyoub Bouaddi and Aston Villa 's Johan Manzambi. After making his Bournemouth debut in August 2025, Kroupi made 35 appearances and scored 13 goals across all competitions last season. He also ended the 2025-26 campaign having scored more goals than any other teenager in their debut Premier League season. However, he is yet to feature this season after sustaining a foot injury in pre-season and undergoing surgery . He is expected to return to action in October or November. The Men's Young Talent of the Year award will be one of the honours presented at the 70th Ballon d'Or ceremony in London on Monday, 26 October.
