Mancini’s Italy squad predicted: At least 30 players in the mix La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Roberto Mancini will call up at least 30 players for the upcoming international break between September and October, during which the Azzurri will play four Nations League games. This season’s international break will last two weeks, with national teams playing four matches. (Photo by Claudio Villa/Getty Images) The Azzurri will make their Nations League debut at home against Belgium on September 25, then visit Turkey on September 28 and France on October 2, and finally host Vincenzo Montella’s Turkiye on October 5. Roberto Mancini is preparing for his second debut as Azzurri coach and has travelled across Italy,  the UK,  and the  rest of Europe to watch potential members of his new team. La Gazzetta dello Sport notes that, given the length of the international break and the number of matches, Mancini will call up at least 30 players, including Milan talent Alhpadjo Cissé and Nicolò Tresoldi, who has agreed to play for Italy after representing Germany at the U21 level. Among the other possible debutants are Michael Kayode of Brentford, Issa Doumbia (Sporting CP), Emanuele Lulli (Roma), Antonio Vergara (Napoli) and Mattia Liberali (Como). Gazzetta claims that even Giovanni Leoni of Liverpool has a chance of being called up, even though the Reds’ boss Andoni Iraola has claimed that the promising centre-back will resume group training with his club during the break, after recovering from a cruciate ligament injury.
