It has been stated that the Red Devils maintain their interest in signing the Ivory Coast talent, but are facing competition from Arsenal, Aston Villa, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur in pursuit of him. Meite’s Impressive Form In Saudi Arabia Meite has caught the eye at times with his performances as the focal point of Al-Hilal’s attack this season. The 18-year-old has found the back of the net once in six matches for the Saudi club last season in all competitions. The talented teenager is currently among the best young forwards in his homeland. Hence, Man United would do well to get a deal done for him next year. His current contract at Al-Hilal will expire in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for the Red Devils to sign him on the cheap this January or at the end of this campaign. Standing at 1.93, Meite can use his strong frame to dominate the opposition defenders in the air. However, only time will tell whether he can adapt to the high intensity of the Premier League if the Red Devils manage to snap him up in 2027. We can expect Meite to improve the quality of Man United head coach Michael Carrick’s attack in the long run. He is capable of serving as a good rotational piece in the Mancunian club’s squad. At 18, the future looks quite bright for Meite as long as he continues to improve with each year.
