Two Spanish options emerge for unwanted Liverpool forward Chiesa Federico Chiesa’s chances of earning regular playing time at Liverpool are at an all-time low, but the latest reports on Thursday claim that there is still interest in the former Italy international from LaLiga, potentially including Atletico Madrid. Report Atletico Madrid and Valencia interested in Chiesa Chiesa is now into his third season at Anfield after being forced away from Juventus in the summer of 2024. The former Juventus and Fiorentina attacker has always found minutes hard to come by at Anfield, though, playing for just 104 minutes in the Premier League in his first season in England and then making just one Premier League start in 2025-26. They currently have Liverpool forward Harvey Elliott on their books on loan, and could potentially return to the negotiating table with Liverpool to discuss a potential deal for Chiesa as well. Calciomercato claims that Atletico Madrid could also be a potential option for Chiesa in January, particularly given that Diego Simeone was unable to bring Nico Gonzalez back from Juventus after a successful loan spell in the Spanish capital in 2025-26.
