Real Madrid superstar’s impending renewal will take him on same salary as Vinicius – report Real Madrid have started discussions over a new contract for Jude Bellingham, with journalist Jorge Picon reporting that the club intends to place the midfielder on the same salary level as Vinicius Jr. Bellingham is already tied to Madrid until 2029, having signed a six-year agreement when he arrived from Borussia Dortmund. But the club has no intention of simply waiting for that deal to run down. Real Madrid regard the England international as central to their long-term plans and are now working to secure his position within a new salary structure. Real Madrid want to protect Bellingham’s future As reported before, Bellingham’s representatives are already in talks with the club.   One reason for the urgency is growing interest from the Premier League, with Real Madrid keen to protect themselves should an approach materialise in 2027. Quite the opposite.  Real Madrid consider him an important part of the project and believe Jose Mourinho can help take the midfielder to another level after a difficult previous campaign. The club’s intention is therefore to strengthen a relationship that already has years remaining on paper, and the salary will be an important part of that process. Bellingham to join Madrid’s highest-paid stars Vinicius currently sits at the top of Madrid’s wage structure alongside Kylian Mbappe. Bellingham is now the next major case to address. The club does not want its most important young players operating on an outdated salary scale while others have moved into the top bracket.  The plan, according to Picon, is for Bellingham to receive a salary comparable to Vinicius.
