PSG sporting director Luis Campos has been given a one match stadium ban by the French football federation after a touchline run-in with Lille staff members two weeks ago in the 2-2 draw. He will serve his suspension this weekend, when PSG head to Brest to play their league fixture. A statement from the LFP says he will not be allowed on “the touchline, the referee’s dressing room” and will be banned from “all official duties” within the stadium. Campos among the very best in his role FRANCK FIFE/AFP via Getty Images While this is a slightly embarrassing moment for the usually pretty reserved Campos, it’s not going to take much shine off the Portuguese suit’s top tier He’s built his reputation steadily and is now clearly rightly considered amongst the best (if not the best) in that role in the world. He has put together a truly brilliant team in Paris, with a top coach in charge. They are winning on the pitch, and starting to make money off it too. In other news… Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has had an amazing year, and is a top candidate for the Ballon d’Or. He spoke very modestly about it. Ousmane Dembele is properly up and running for the season after a great showing last night in the Champions League. He spoke post-game about his form and the team’s results so far. Ferran Torres was signed to replace Goncalo Ramos as the main backup attacker – but he’s already putting pressure on the starting trio.
