This comes as a welcome development considering that previous reports had suggested that the 25-year-old attacker might not return until early 2027 . In fact, Rodrygo’s father, Eric Goes, suggested that the player would be ready to return around February next year. “Rodrygo will be back before February. He will be back for the important part of the season and be important for the team, as always,”   he said earlier this week. But it appears that there is a possibility that Real Madrid could have Rodrygo back before the end of the current calendar year. After all, the complicated nature of his ACL injury, coupled with meniscus damage, demands maximum caution. Furthermore, having suffered a spate of injuries over the past couple of seasons, Real Madrid, under new manager Jose Mourinho, have taken a more conservative approach when it comes to easing injured players back. This was seen with the Portuguese tactician’s approach with Endrick and Aurelien Tchouameni over the past few weeks, despite their minor fitness problems. So, there will be no risks taken with Rodrygo and his return will be managed carefully by Real Madrid.
