He was solid in goal throughout the match and when needed, he helped Manchester City clinch a huge three points. Matheus Nunes-8/10:  I thought Matheus Nunes was superb at right-back. He was good on both sides of the ball throughout the game. Ruben Dias-7.5/10:  Another good performance from Dias. He didn’t stand out like Guehi but he played a crucial role in City’s win. Marc Guehi-9/10:  Yet another brilliant performance from Guehi. Alongside Enzo Fernandez, he was Manchester City’s man-of-the-match in my opinion. Josko Gvardiol-7.5/10  He grabbed an assist for Haaland’s winner and I thought he defended well throughout the match. Elliot Anderson-8.5/10:  Anderson was brilliant once again. He won the challenges he needed to and he never stopped working for his team. Enzo Fernandez-9/10:  I thought the performance of Fernandez was absolutely superb. He dug in for his team and his quality in possession gave Manchester City a reprieve when needed. He is a fighter and the way the game panned out brought out this side of his game. Phil Foden-3/10:  Obviously, Foden gets a harsh mark for his 23rd minute red card. Foden isn’t a young player and he should have known better than to be sucked in by Bruno Fernandes. It was a poor moment from Foden and one he shouldn’t have been drawn into in the first place. Rayan Cherki-5/10:  It does seem harsh to give Cherki a five as his role was reduced after Foden’s red card. However, he was loose in possession and Maresca replacing him with Iliman Ndiaye was a smart move. Antoine Semenyo-7.5/10:  Semenyo never stopped working for his team. It was his clever play that set up City’s winner. A great workmanlike display from him. Erling Haaland-8.5/10: Haaland’s goal settled the 199th Manchester derby. He also worked tirelessly up front in trying circumstances to help Manchester City see off their arch-rivals. Substitutes. Iliman Ndiaye-7.5/10:  Ndiaye was brilliant after coming at halftime.
