Araujo has played as a right-back before at Barcelona. But it's also not a role that he would prefer. And yet, he's been putting in some of the best right-back performances we have seen in years in the position. Ultimately, he's playing with a lot of heart and emotion. He's someone who can get stuck in and he's very much endeared himself to the Anfield crowd. Perhaps the club's recruitment team as well because they're already looking to bring in the next Araujo. Liverpool looking to sign Alejandro Balde It looks like signing players neglected by Barcelona might become a trend for the Reds. Araujo was first, and now they've set their sights on Balde. According to reporter Juan Jesus , the Reds are going all out in January to sign Balde from Barcelona. The report claims Iraola has identified Balde as the absolute priority to bolster his options in the winter window. Balde played 28 times in La Liga for Barcelona last season but he is out of favour just like Araujo. Yet at the same time, the Spaniard is still very young at 22-years-old and he does seem like an interesting profile. If Iraola does envisage an exciting potential for him and believes he could provide competition for Milos Kerkez that Kostas Tsimikas simply cannot, then the Reds should be all over this move.
