But what makes him a standout presence on the field is his imposing aerial and physical presence. Schlotterbeck is also one of the best ball-playing centre-backs in world football, who is also capable of operating at left-back or even at defensive midfield, if necessary. Other than simply providing passes in between the lines, the German is also capable of launching long balls forward, which should be of great help for players like Yan Diomande, Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr. Real Madrid, though, will face stiff competition for Schlotterbeck’s services, with no less than six teams interested in his services.
