Indeed, Adeyemi has already scored three and assisted one goal from six games for Barça, leaving a mark early in his stint at his new club. His first squad list announcement is imminent ahead of the upcoming three-week international break, and everything points towards Adeyemi making a comeback to the national team setup. Returning after almost one year Adeyemi was not part of the national team for the World Cup. In fact, he has not been a part of the Germany setup for almost a year, with his last appearance coming in October against Northern Ireland. But with Klopp taking over, coupled with the forward’s positive start at Barcelona, seems to have opened the door for him to return to the squad. Adeyemi has made a positive start at Barcelona. Interestingly, it was his current Barcelona manager Hansi Flick who handed him his national team debut back in 2021. Now, after making a strong start to the new season under the German tactician, the 24-year-old appears set to return to the national team setup. Germany are scheduled to play four fixtures in the upcoming international break as they take on the Netherlands, Serbia, and Greece (twice) in the UEFA Nations League.
