Facing a newly-promoted Racing side, Barcelona go into the contest as overwhelming favourites, thanks to their superlative form since the start of the season. His team have won 47 of them (D4), giving them an impressive 82% win rate. Barcelona’s home record by competition In La Liga under Flick, Barcelona have won 35 of their 40 home matches, an 87% win rate. There has been one draw, while the remaining four matches ended in defeat. Their Champions League record is also strong. Barcelona have recorded 10 wins from 14 home matches, along with two draws. That represents a 71% win rate. The Copa del Rey has produced an unbeaten record, too. Flick’s Barça have played three home matches in the competition, winning two and drawing one. Goals are guaranteed at home The other striking feature of Barcelona’s home record is their goalscoring. Across all competitions, Flick’s side have scored 177 goals in their 57 home matches, an average of more than three per game. In La Liga, they have scored 116 goals, averaging 2.9 per match. Their Champions League total stands at 49 goals at 3.5 per game, while the 12 goals scored in their three Copa del Rey home fixtures represent an average of four per match. Last season produced more emphatic results as Barcelona beat Valencia 6-0, defeated Olympiakos 6-1 in the Champions League, beat Sevilla 5-2 and overwhelmed Newcastle United 7-2 in Europe. The current campaign has already continued the pattern, with a 5-0 victory over Elche in La Liga followed by a 5-1 Champions League win against Feyenoord.
