Moyes wants to see 'Everton DNA'

[Getty Images] David Moyes wants to see "Everton DNA" as the Toffees look to battle through this period where they lack numbers in forward areas. The Toffees were left disappointed after failing to land a new striker with the club not executing on attempts to bring in Monaco forward Folarin Balogun and Manchester United's Joshua Zirkzee. However, Moyes believes their foundations in defence see them well-placed to muster results at the moment, with their next key focus being Wednesday's Carabao Cup tie against Wolves at Hill Dickinson Stadium. "There's a wee bit of Everton DNA where we have to find ways," Moyes said after the goalless draw against Tottenham . "We have a terrific goalkeeper, a back four who does well. We know exactly where we're short and what we could do better at and what we'd like to do better at. "But when we were forced into it by Tottenham, I thought we did a really good job of being resilient, hard to score against. "Our goalie didn't have too many saves to make with a few blocks, few corners we had to defend, but overall I thought we'd done a pretty good job."
