Spurs made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 21st minute when Alexis Mac Allister found the back of the net. Roberto De Zerbi’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline. Cody Gakpo scored again for the home team in the 54th minute, but Conor Gallagher got a goal back for Spurs in the 69th minute.
