Barcelona project €1.45 billion in revenue for 2030/31 FC Barcelona have consistently stressed that the full exploitation of the Spotify Camp Nou will be crucial to the club’s long-term financial recovery once the redevelopment is complete. Now, according to MARCA , the Catalans are projecting €1.45 billion in revenue for the 2030/31 season, with VIP boxes, Hospitality and broadcasting rights expected to make a significant contribution. Barcelona also forecast an EBITDA of €370 million for that campaign. The figures would represent a substantial increase on the recently completed financial year. The 2025/26 season ended on 30 June with revenue of around €1.06 billion and EBITDA of €184 million. However, the Camp Nou was operating with only 62,000 seats during the 2025/26 season because of the ongoing construction work. According to the club’s current schedule, some of the stadium’s VIP areas could open as early as next month. Part of the third tier is expected to become operational during the first quarter of 2027 , while the club plans to begin installing the stadium roof next summer. The completed Spotify Camp Nou is therefore expected to play a much greater role in Barcelona’s commercial model, with matchday hospitality and other stadium-related revenue streams forming an important part of the club’s long-term projections. Forbes values Barcelona at €6.5 billion Another indication of the club’s changing financial position is its valuation by Forbes. The publication currently values Barcelona at €6.5 billion, representing a 57 per cent increase compared with 2021. At the same time, however, the club continues to face financial obligations linked to its relationship with UEFA. Barcelona have requested a €92 million subordinated loan as a mechanism to avoid paying a UEFA sanction related to the requirement to reduce debt on the balance sheet by 10%. One of the most important items on the Assembly agenda will be a vote on the club’s request for a €300 million loan to complete the redevelopment of Spotify Camp Nou. The accounts will also show an increase in Barcelona’s sporting wage bill. The figure stood at €571 million last season and has risen to €636 million for the current campaign. The increase is attributed to the renewals completed by the club and adjustments made to several existing contracts. Non-sporting personnel costs have also increased, rising from €83 million to €93 million, following the expansion of the club’s professional workforce. With the stadium redevelopment progressing and Barcelona projecting more than €1.4 billion in annual revenue by 2030/31, the club expects the completed Spotify Camp Nou to become a central component of its future financial model.
