Leicester City keeper Keane signs new long-term deal Leicester City goalkeeper Katie Keane has signed a new long-term contract with the club. WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Foxes this afternoon. The 20-year-old has agreed to remain at The King Power Stadium until summer 2029. Keane joined Leicester City from SSE Airtricity League Women’s Premier Division club Shamrock Rovers in summer 2025. The youngster made four appearances for The Foxes in the latter stages of last season. She then kept a clean sheet as Leicester City won 1-0 at Sheffield United on the opening day of this season. The Republic of Ireland youth international is a real prospect and she will now continue to develop with Leicester City over the long-term. After signing extended terms with Leicester City, Keane said “I’m really happy to sign a new contract and commit my future to Leicester City. I’ve really enjoyed my time here since joining the Club and I feel like I’ve developed a lot already. “Getting the opportunity to make my debut and play in some big games last season was a great experience for me. I want to keep improving, keep pushing myself and contribute as much as I can. “To the fans, thank you for making it feel like a home away from home and I can’t wait to keep pushing for the best for the Club.” Leicester City are next in action on Sunday when they host Ipswich Town in Barclays WSL2.
