Thompson and Bishop sign new Kidderminster deals
Kidderminster Harriers winger Seb Thompson and goalkeeper Josh Bishop have both agreed new contracts following the club's return to the National League. Harriers secured promotion from the National League North through the play-offs in May and are preparing for a return to the fifth tier of English football under new manager Paul Wotton, who recently succeeded Adam Murray. Having already agreed fresh terms with experienced midfielder David Davis, but having allowed stalwart Amari Morgan-Smith to leave at the end of his contract, Kiddy have now confirmed that Thompson, 23, has signed on for the 2026-27 campaign. He made 35 league appearances last season, having also spent a couple of months out on loan with Leamington, and he contributed nine goals across the campaign - including in the play-off semi-final triumph over Macclesfield. Bishop, who spent last season on loan at Malvern Town, has also agreed to remain at Aggborough. His only previous league appearance for the club came two seasons ago, in their most recent season in the National League.
