Praise for Dibling and Alcaraz after Everton's cup win
Everton assistant manager Alan Irvine said he is "delighted" for Tyler Dibling and Charly Alcaraz, after the pair who have taken part in limited minutes so far this season combined for the goal in Wednesday's Carabao Cup victory against Wolves. After the Toffees progressed in the Carabao Cup, Irvine told BBC Radio Merseyside: "Tyler has come back looking like he belongs here, which is great. It looked difficult for him being so far away from home and things like that as a young lad last season but he's come back a different lad this season. His training has been very good. "Charly trains well every day so we didn't have any fear that we would not have a player who was up to speed, even though he hasn't played that many minutes since pre-season. "Pre-season was good for all the boys because everybody got a lot of minutes - again, a benefit of having a small squad. I'm delighted for the two of them. "I said to Tyler before the game 'you're getting your chance, you've waited a long time, make sure that you perform well and then you give the manager a big decision to make about whether you're in the team the next time' so that was great."
