He is reportedly left unhappy with the lack of opportunities at first-team level this season. The left winger played only eight minutes during United’s pre-season friendly with Atletico Madrid. Gabriel was an unused substitute against Leeds United. New signing Tynan Thompson got 45 minutes of game time.
