🏭 Man City pipeline at it again amid dream debut for Floyd Samba

🏭 Man City pipeline at it again amid dream debut for Floyd Samba Manchester City are in full control against Championship outfit Norwich City in the opening 45 minutes of their EFL Cup third round clash at the Etihad. Though it took a bit longer than many would have expected, Enzo Maresca's Citizens will go into the half-time team talk up by a pair of goals while looking good value to progress into the fourth round. French international maestro Rayan Cherki got in on the scoring act to double City's lead just after the half-hour mark, but all the talk will be centred around 17-year-old starlet Floyd Samba. Son of former Blackburn cult hero Christopher Samba, the England youth international striker was given the nod by Maresca to lead the line tonight for his full senior debut, and the Macclesfield-born frontman repaid that faith in spades with a lovely headed effort in the 29th minute to open the scoring. Another in a long line of youngsters to come through City's academy ranks, Samba could be well on his way to joining the likes of Phil Foden, Rico Lewis, Nico O’Reilly, and others. If his cultured first-half finish is anything to go by, the kid just may well have the goods.
