5 Arsenal players named in England squad Thomas Tuchel has named his England squad for the upcoming international break, with five Arsenal players set for involvement. Photo by Luke Hales/Getty Images Arsenal are set for a longer-than-usual international break this month, with the old September and October breaks combining into one this season. England will play four matches over the new extended break, all in the Nations League. They’ll kick things off against World Cup winners Spain on Saturday, September 26th, before travelling away to Czechia on Tuesday, September 29th. For the second half of the break, England will face their third group opponent Croatia away from home on Saturday, October 3rd, before wrapping things up with a home game against Czechia on Tuesday, October 6th. England confirmed on Friday morning that Ezri Konsa , Myles Lewis-Skelly , Declan Rice , Eberechi Eze , and Bukayo Saka will be involved with the team, with Noni Madueke , Ben White , and Ethan Nwaneri not called up. The rest of the call-ups were expected, but Lewis-Skelly has been in and out of the squad over the last year. On the other hand, it will be a disappointment for Madueke that he’s not involved this time. White’s absence was more predictable, but Madueke has generally been involved with England in recent squads. Photo by Richard Pelham/Getty Images
