Jersey Bulls had not failed to score in a league game this season [BBC] Ten-man Jersey Bulls were held to a 0-0 draw at Winchester City as they returned to action in Isthmian League South Central. Having lost in the FA Cup at Burgess Hill Town in a replay on Tuesday, Bulls failed to score in a league match for the first time since they lost their play-off semi-final in April. Toby Ritzema and Jamie Watling had chances for the islanders midway through the first half as the sides could not be separated before the break. Winchester had to hack the ball away 10 minutes after the break as Ritzema's dangerous cross in caused havoc in the box. But the islanders were dealt a blow when Jonny Le Quesne was sent off for a second booking after 61 minutes. But despite the disadvantage Sammy Henia-Kanau went close for Bulls with 16 minutes left while Luke Watson saw an 87th-minute header go wide of the Winchester post.
