Zinédine Zidane calls time on N’Golo Kanté’s France career Zinédine Zidane, in evoking the subject of a potential return for Karim Benzema (38), announced that N’Golo Kanté’s (35) time as a France international is over. He added, “I am admiring of [Karim’s] career, but now, I need to see younger players, which doesn’t take away anything that he has done for club and country.” Kanté has 69 caps for Les Bleus.
