Serie A | Frosinone 2-0 Como: Unexpected upset with hero Palmisani Frosinone caused a huge upset by inflicting the first defeat of the season on Como, but while Giacomo Calò and Giorgi Kvernadze scored, Lorenzo Palmisani was the hero in goal. The Lariani knew a victory would put them joint top with Roma, Inter and Lazio, on a run of four straight wins between Serie A and the Champions League. Nico Paz drilled just wide of the near post, while a Raimondo back-heel flick was straight at Butez at the near post, along with his cross-shot moments later. Palmisani showed cat-like reflexes to palm away the Nico Paz diving header on an Assane Diao cross, but just as Como were pouring forward in first half stoppages, they left themselves unbalanced to concede the second. Schmid went on the counter-attack and laid it off for Giorgi Kvernadze, who shrugged off Baturina and drilled the angled drive to squirm under Butez.
