Red card dished out in choppy Madrid derby 📸

Red card dished out in choppy Madrid derby 📸 The action inside the Metropolitano has been the focus on Sunday as Atlético de Madrid hosts Real Madrid. After a choppy first half, a red card led to the first goal. Deadlocked by the break thanks to only one shot on target, it was difficult to determine where the opening goal would arrive (if at all).  However, it's all come down to a defensive error from 21-year-old Dean Huijsen. The central defender was caught sleeping as Giuliano Simeone ran in behind the line and beat him for pace.  Huijsen then grabbed his arm and brought him down in one motion. The referee initially had a yellow card out and awarded a penalty, but VAR upgraded it to red. Alejandro Grimaldo then comfortably stepped up to the spot and converted beyond a diving Thibaut Courtois. Can Los Blancos bite back with a man less? Big mountain to climb for Jose Mourinho and company now.
