Pulisic ends Milan goal drought days after missing out on USMNT camp 🇺🇸 Just days after missing out on Mauricio Pochettino's latest USMNT squad for the upcoming extended international break, Christian Pulisic is back among the goals as Milan lock horns with Lecce at San Siro. It's been a different period for the American star of late, but hope seemingly arrived in the vein of Ruben Amorim this summer, who viewed Pulisic as 'perfect for the way I think (about) football.' But fast-forward to the present, where the 28-year-old has routinely been left out by the Portuguese tactician, Pulisic was handed a start as the Rossoneri looked to continue their undefeated start to the 2026/27 Serie A season. It was the first time Pulisic found the back of the net in his last 39 shots in Serie A, putting an end to an embarrassing barren run in front of goal. A first goal since December 2025 and on his first start of the season is certainly one way to, hopefully, begin to silence some of his critics as the key attacker looks to get back to his best.
