Barcelona will not change homegrown star’s release clause despite contract renewal – report Barcelona are closing in on a new contract for Marc Bernal, with the midfielder set to remain at the club until 2031. The agreement is not yet formally signed, but the key terms are understood to have been settled.  Notably, sporting director Deco has already informed the club’s board that an agreement is imminent , with the final documentation now the main step before the renewal is completed.
