Wakefield's Guler and Hull KR's Hiku banned for punches

Peta Hiku was sent off in the 42nd minute of Hull KR's Super League play-off eliminator defeat at Warrington on Saturday [Getty Images] Wakefield Trinity prop Emre Guler and Hull KR centre Peta Hiku have been given two-game bans punching incidents in their respective Super League play-off eliminator ties. Guler was sent off in the second half of Wakefield's win against Leigh on Friday for punching Owen Trout. His ban - which comes following just his fourth game for Trinity after joining from NRL side St George Illawarra Dragons - means he will not be able to play in the Super League Grand Final should they beat Wigan Warriors on Saturday. Meanwhile Hiku receives his ban having made contact with the face of Warrington's George Williams in KR's defeat on Saturday. Both players have also been fined in addition to their suspensions.
