Ekrem Konur reports for Fussball News that Arsenal are one of multiple Premier League clubs with an interest in Bayer Leverkusen’s Ibrahim Maza , with the two Manchester clubs also reportedly monitoring the player closely. Manchester City appear to be the most advanced of the English sides with an interest, with City and Atletico Madrid reportedly already making contact with the player’s camp to stay updated. But the Gunners are said to see the player as a long-term option for their midfield. According to the report, the German club would only be willing to discuss a transfer for a fee in the region of €65m to €70m (£55.8-60.4m). Leverkusen would also be pushing for performance-related bonuses and a sell-on clause, despite only having signed the player for €12m in 2025. The former Germany youth international plays his senior international football for Algeria, and he has two goals and one assist in 21 games for them. That includes four appearances at the summer World Cup, and an AFCON run to the quarter-finals. All three of his goal contributions came in that AFCON tournament in late 2025.
