Norwich's Toure out for 'months' with shoulder injury

The 22-year-old was forced off in the early stages of Sunday's 4-3 Championship defeat by Bolton Wanderers at Carrow Road. Australia international Toure, who has scored 14 league goals in 18 appearances since joining Norwich in February, has subsequently been withdrawn from the Socceroos' squad for a double-header of friendlies with Brazil. Clement said Toure's injury was a "bad one" and would require surgery. Canaries captain Kenny McLean and Ben Chrisene also face a number of weeks out after picking up knocks at the weekend. "The others are all still assessed, but we will lose a few players," Clement added. "It was a frantic game in every sense. We lose a few players with contact, you cannot do something about. It's part of football. It give chances for other players again." Norwich are 17th in the Championship heading into the international break, having won three and lost five of their opening eight league fixtures. "We need to use this break to reset to make it strong for this second lap of eight games," Clement told BBC Radio Norfolk. "We wanted more out of these eight games, but we're going to use these weeks really well to improve things again."
