Over the last 12 months, the Reds have bolstered their ranks with a lot of young players. Liverpool have prioritised rebuilding the team in order to replace club legends and to bring in a new and exciting generation. This has seen the Reds recruit some of the best young players in the world. From Florian Wirtz to Bradley Barcola and Hugo Ekitike. Not to mention Jeremy Jacquet. The Reds have also brought in Giovanni Leoni and Milos Kerkez. The direction has been clearly to sign players under the age of 23. Victor Munoz is another one who fits into this category. He's already an exciting young player but his potential is even higher. What this team could become is the real exciting part. Liverpool's exciting new signings Of course, the club has also been busy building a young core behind the scenes to support the first-team. We've seen key players coming through the ranks like Rio Ngumoha and Trey Nyoni. But also the Reds have been a lot more active in the youth market. Liverpool have signed the likes of Armin Pecsi, Will Wright, Mor Talla Ndiaye, Ifeanyi Ndukwe Samuel Martinez, Djylian N'Guessan and Lucca Brughmans in the last 12 months alone. All of these players are very promising, some of them have proven themselves at the very top of youth football. Ndiaye and Ndukwe were brilliant at the U17 World Cup. N'Guessan caught the eye at the U17 Euros and Martinez was super for Colombia at the U17 Copa America. Liverpool sign goalkeeping sensation Hayden Smith The Reds have also added another exciting young goalkeeper to their ranks. Hayden Smith has been catching the eye at The Steven Gerrard Academy (SGA) working alongside former Liverpool academy goalkeeper Yusuf Mersin. Now though the Reds have managed to sign Smith to the club. Smith confirmed the news himself, speaking on the SGA's official Instagram . He's signed a professional deal with Liverpool and he will be coming to link-up with the Reds. The young goalkeeper will have plenty of competition in the position. But his arrival could allow one of the more experienced keepers at the academy to go out on loan. Either way Smith has been a bit of a sensation at Gerrard's academy which is why he earned this move to Liverpool so he is one to keep a close eye on.
