Official | Le Mans’ Adil Bourabaa receives maiden Algeria call-up after Nabil Bentaleb withdrawal Le Mans FC winger Adil Bourabaa (21) has received a first call-up to the Algerian national team squad. He replaces another Ligue 1 player, Lille OSC’s Nabil Bentaleb, who was forced to withdraw due to injury. Bourabaa missed out on being named in the initial squad named by Brahim Hemdani, however, he has profited from an injury sustained by Bentaleb. The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder managed 77 minutes against OGC Nice on Sunday before being replaced by Ngal’ayel Mukau in the 2-1 defeat. However, whilst no injury was revealed by Davide Ancelotti when speaking post-match, the midfielder seemingly sustained an injury that has ruled him out of this international break. Bourabaa has been called up in his place. The forward has excelled since making the step up to Ligue 1 with Le Mans.
