This would potentially be for another two years with an option for an additional 12 months, i.e. at least until 2029, if not until 2030. If that were to be the case, Rabiot would be 35 years old at the end of his Rossoneri contract. La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Gerry Cardinale is set to personally handle negotiations and that getting Rabiot to commit to a new deal is one of the club’s biggest priorities when Cardinale is next in Italy, in October.
