Bellingham had no idea the Bronze Boot was an award Bellingham scored seven goals during England’s World Cup campaign, matching Erling Haaland and finishing behind only Lionel Messi and his Real Madrid teammate Kylian Mbappe in the scoring standings. Despite his goalscoring exploits, the midfielder admitted he was unaware that FIFA presented an award for finishing third among the tournament’s top scorers. “The World Cup Bronze Boot… I didn’t even know it existed, but thanks anyway,” said the Real Madrid player. Real Madrid teammates await Bellingham at Wembley The timing of Saturday’s fixture gives Bellingham an opportunity to face Spain again, although this time the setting will be different. England lost the Euro 2024 final to Spain, and the two nations will now meet again at Wembley with Bellingham expected to play a central role for Tuchel’s side. There will also be familiar faces on the opposing side, with Bellingham potentially lining up against Real Madrid teammates Marc Cucurella and Dean Huijsen.
