The report points out that the Barcelona coaching staff, led by Flick, is wary of the toll the international break could take on Raphinha, with Brazil set for long travels to Australia and India. Keeping that in mind, it is almost given that Raphinha may require some breathing room when club football resumes next month. That is where Gabriel Jesus comes into the fray, with the forward determined to break into the starting eleven . An ideal alternative? The fact that Gabriel Jesus is not part of the Brazil squad is a blessing for Hansi Flick, as he can remain fresh and use the international break to get better used to conditions at Barcelona.
