Murray to focus on Barrow future not dwell on past

Murray took over in the summer following their relegation from the EFL after they finished bottom of League Two. There has been a huge upheaval to the playing squad, but with a second win of the season at home to Aldershot Town last Saturday, the former Kidderminster Harriers boss wants to look forward. "We've had a lot of change and we need to find a platform, build that foundation and move on," Murray told BBC Radio Cumbria. "I'm annoying myself to keep talking about the past. What's done is done, we move on and look to the future and what I believe will be a positive future." Of the 16 players who featured against Aldershot, 14 have come to the club since relegation including two debutants in Arian Allen and Corey Edwards. And the boss hopes that the rebuilt squad can provide a new outlook as they prepare for a trip to in-form Southend United. "We've got people here where everyone's on board," said Murray. "The atmosphere on Saturday and the atmosphere this week, there's a new energy in the group. "It's been like chalk and cheese and that's good to feel. For us now, the focus is purely on the future."
