France U21 international Nathan Zézé attracted significant interest in last transfer window Nathan Zézé (21) was one of several young French players to make the move from France to Saudi Arabia back in the summer of 2025. The defender wasn’t short of options to return to the European continent during the most recent transfer window, as per a report from L’Équipe . Zézé had hardly broken through at formative club FC Nantes before NEOM SC came sniffing. He made a €20m move to the Saudi side back in July 2025 and has featured regularly in the Saudi Pro League, whilst his performances in the Gulf State continue to see him selected for France’s U21 side. In the long term, the centre-back has his sights set on a return to Europe, but he is in no rush. He did, nonetheless, have offers from La Liga sides Deportivo de La Coruña and Real Sociedad over the summer, whilst there was also interest from Galatasaray and Al-Hilal. GFFN | Luke Entwistle
