Jersey Bulls remain unbeaten after Bedfont Sports win

Summer signing Jarma Mohamed scored his first league goal for Jersey Bulls [BBC] Unbeaten Jersey Bulls moved up to sixth place in Isthmian League South Central after an entertaining 3-2 win at Bedfont Sports. The islanders took the lead in impressive style as Lorne Bickley's thunderous strike from the right side of the box found the top corner in the eighth minute. But eight minutes later the hosts drew level when Tommy O'Neill reacted first from close range after James Barnett's shot was saved by Euan van der Vliet. However Bulls needed just five minutes to react as Jarma Mohamed fired in from the edge of the box after Jamie Watling had headed against the bar and Bickley's follow-up had been cleared off the line. Toby Ritzema missed a golden chance to make it 3-1 when he headed Sammy Henia-Kamau's cross wide when unmarked in the 40th minute, a miss which Bulls would rue when Barnett set Dan Williams free and the Bedfont striker scored from the edge of the box. Bedfont had chances to extend their lead after the break, but it was the islanders who moved in front midway through the second half when Jonny Le Quesne's cross from the right was half-cleared and Henia-Kamau controlled well before firing into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. Bickley almost made it 4-1 when he struck the post with 10 minutes to go as the islanders extended their unbeaten start to the league season to five games - they have not lost a league match in 2026, a run of 23 games.
