Mora showed some of his most notable characteristics as he scored this goal. He drove into the box with the ball, made a cut inside to deceive two defenders, before taking an excellent shot towards the near post that left the goalkeeper helpless. Thus, he continues to enjoy the good form that he enjoyed with Mexico during the World Cup. Gilberto Mora recently renewed his contract with his current club, Club Tijuana, but this was mainly with the aim of ensuring the club gets a good deal if the forward moves to Europe next summer.
