Real Madrid could take advantage of Manchester City uncertainty to target €220m-rated superstar Real Madrid could find an unexpected opportunity in the uncertainty surrounding Manchester City, with Erling Haaland emerging as the name causing the biggest concern in England. According to MARCA , there is growing fear in English football that Real Madrid could attempt to take advantage of City’s difficult situation and explore a move for the Norwegian striker.  At the same time, it is also reported that Barcelona are mentioned as another potential suitor as questions continue to surround the Premier League club’s sporting and financial future. Haaland at the centre of potential Man City exodus It must be noted that City have been accused of 115 breaches of Premier League financial regulations, and found guilty of 114 of those charges. The eventual punishment could have major consequences. The Premier League does not have a fixed points or financial penalty attached to each individual breach, leaving the independent commission to determine the appropriate sanction. His contract length gives City considerable protection, while any potential deal would involve enormous financial demands.  Furthermore, Real Madrid would also have to decide whether the Norwegian fits their long-term attacking plans alongside their existing stars. Still, the situation is worth following. If Manchester City receive a punishment that materially changes their competitive position, Real Madrid could enter the picture with a strong upper hand.
