The likes of Bradley Barcola, Florian Wirtz, Rio Ngumoha and Lewis Koumas will probably be called upon to form a make-shift front three in the pair’s absence, but there will almost definitely be a place for Danns on the bench. Given the opportunity to come on and play some first-team minutes, Danns needs to remind everyone of his excellent natural ability and could earn himself a regular place in the Liverpool side with a good performance. With a career that has been blighted by injury so far, now could be the time that Danns finally gets back on track and continues the exceptional trajectory he was on under Klopp.
